The struggling Mumbai Indians will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in Match number 14 of the Indian Premier 2018 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday. Mumbai go into the match having lost all three of the games so far. Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore, on the other hand, have done only slightly better with one wins in three games.
Mumbai Indians could have won at least two of the three games, against Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Daredevils. Against CSK, they lost the plot and the very end, and in the game against Delhi Daredevils they could not convert a great platform to a match-winning score.
Of all players, Mumbai will need skipper Rohit Sharma to get back among the runs. The move to promote Suryakumar Yadav to open was a brilliant one, but the form of West Indian Kieron Pollard remains a worry. In the bowling, Mayank Markande was taken for runs in the previous match, but Mumbai will be confident of him returning to his best.
