West Indies were 268 for 6 in 93.1 overs when rain halted play on Day two of the Test against Sri Lanka at the Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad on Thursday.
Shane Dowrich was unbeaten on a well-compiled 57 and Devendra Bishoo on 7 when rain interrupted play. Earlier, West Indies ended Day two on a disappointing 246 for 6. Openers Kraigg Brathwaite and comeback man Devon Smith both were dismissed in single-figure scores.
Kieran Powell, Shai Hope and Roston Chase all got past 30, but failed to convert it into big scores. Lahiru Kumara was the standout bowler for Sri Lanka with 3 for 63.
