Scotland were brought back to earth, after the high of defeating England in an ODI as Pakistan eased themselves to a 48-run triumph in the first T20 at the Grange Cricket Club in Edinburgh.
For a while, they did compete though and would like to take the positives into the second clash.
Pakistan have been in excellent form in the T20 format, and they continued the same on Wednesday, with skipper Sarfraz Ahmed leading the way with 89. They did struggle at the start though.
In contrast, Scotland were never in the game after the first 10 overs with the ball. They struggled to contain Pakistan’s batsmen in the second half, and their batsmen were found out against Pakistan’s spinners.
