Having bowled out Sri Lanka for 253 on Day 1 of the St Lucia Test, West Indies would look to consolidate with the bat on the second Day.
They began well having not lost a wicket in the first 15 overs, but there is a long way to go.
Sri Lanka struggled on the opening day of the Test folding up for merely over 250. This, despite Dinesh Chandimal getting an unbeaten 119. Kusal Perera and Kusal Mendis made 32 and 45 respectively, but they needed to carry on.
West Indies bowlers were brilliant on Day 1 with Shannon Gabriel claiming 5 for 59 and Kemar Roach finishing with 4 for 49. Jason Holder pick the other important wicket to fall.
