Struggling hosts Zimbabwe will face a somewhat upbeat Australia in match number three of the tri-series at Harare on Tuesday.
While Zimbabwe went down to Pakistan in the opening game of the series, Australia thrashed the Asian nation by nine wickets in the second game.
Australia, after a torrid English tour, returned to winning ways with a terrific performance against Sarfraz Ahmed’s men. Billy Stanlake came up with a stunning effort of 4 for 8 with the ball while skipper Aaron Finch led from the front with the bat. Andrew Tye also claimed three wickets but gave away too many runs.
Zimbabwe will have it tough against the renewed Aussies although they have beaten Australia in the only T20 played between the two teams. Apart from players missing out due to pay disputes, now the injury to Kyle Jarvis has added to their woes. Donald Tiripano has been called in as replacement.
