England Lions would look to continue their domination against India A on Day 4 of the unofficial Test at Worcester.
Both India A’s batsmen, as well as bowlers, struggled as England Lions dominated on all three days of the Test.
England Lions would be extremely pleased with the manner in which they have performed so far. Alastair Cook smashed a brilliant 180 while Dawid Malan slammed 74. With the ball, for India A, Mohammed Siraj claimed four wickets and Shahbaz Nadeem picked up three wickets.
For India A, Prithvi Shaw, Ajinkya Rahane and Rishabh Pant all got starts, but neither could go on to get a big score, which would have disappointed the team. Sam Curran then shone with five wickets for India A.
Malan scored a fifty in the second innings as well, and Rory Burns got a start. Cook, however, failed in the second innings, managing only five runs in the second innings before being bowled by Siraj. They though are in a great position.
They declared at 194 for 5, leaving India A with an improbable 421 to win with just over a day to go.
